Another episode of Cholangitis. 3 days in the hospital. 7 more days at home on very strong IV antibiotics. An increase in meds to help bile flow.... Really? Was this happening? It was decided that this probably was an episode of Cholangitis returning because we had not fully knocked out the infection she had been hospitalized for just a month prior. Okay then, we will hospitalize her, this time blast away with antibiotics... the 2 strongest ones out there for this type of infection (with unnerving side effects to watch for)... and then go home and live happily ever after... right?
