Update

I have not done a great job at keeping things up to date. Partly because I am trying to enjoy all the healthy days that we have had with Makelle since last summer. My brain enjoys not having to recall all of the details during the challenging times with Makelle while I don't have to have it at the forefront of my thoughts. However, I write these posts to help loved ones understand Makelle's story, and as a way to journal the journey. It would have been much easier to post these entries as they happen. It nags at me all the time to catch up the story, because I know that our "well time" can change in an instant back to "sick time," so I have decided it is time to try to continue on from where I left off... here I go...
